The IRIS Consortium, founded in 1993, is an association of Florentine area art history and humanities libraries.

Main specialist fields:
- Art history (including references on art conservation and restoration) and
- The Renaissance in all its aspects (history, literature, philosophy, political theory, and music), with particular attention to scholarship on the Italian Renaissance.
Searchable holdings (1/2013): The bibliographic union catalog contains records for more than 325,000 titles, including monographs, journals, rare and early books (including titles printed before 1500), auction catalogs, academic dissertations, music scores, offprints, collection-level guide records to photographic archives, and non-print media (microfiches. microfilms, CD-ROMs, videos and sound recordings). Circa 24,000 auction catalog records have been added to the bibliographic union catalog in January 2013. They are mainly focussed on auctions of art objects, while including notable sales of armour and arms, books and manuscripts, coins and medals, music scores and musical instruments, and the minor and decorative arts.
